CHANGING TRENDZ….. The
New TRENDZ are Astonishing….. With the New year come all kinds of changes. Change in style, change in fashion, etc. But this time there is another unexpected change… A change in the trend of RESULTS! This was one of the most upsetting and unwelcoming changes. The pity is that people say that this new trend of passing 35% of the students has come here and is here to stayL The best part is that this new trend has overcome ALL other trends for the time being and made life either boring( for those who have begun to study) or a comedy( for those who have lost hopes of completing engineering in four years and ridicule at themselves in disgust). Anywayz,
I don’t want to spoil people’s mind writing ‘bout results anymore. Few of
the other latest styles that have come up for gals are the Elle18 trend#1 series
of nail polish( you wouldn’t have missed out that advertisement of trend
meter). The other latest development is of being conscious of “who is watching
of your lips today?” Speaking of Lakme, I must talk ‘bout this new craze for
Yana Gupta. So finally foreigners have started making it into Indian cinema
after politicians. She is worth all the hype though. I heard of people wanting
to kill channel [V] VJ- Purab when they got to know that Yana had a crush on
him! So
Valentine’s day jus’ went by without too much extravaganza. As usual many
people genuinely followed the colour code while some others jus’ forgot
‘bout it! Something reeely interesting was the number of Men in Black! Wat on
earth went wrong? You don’t have a girl friend doesn’t mean you “HATE
love”. Does it? Opinions differ though. But what I feel is that someday,
sometime each soul will find someone on whom their lives will begin to revolve,
someone without whom you will feel empty or lost someone, for whom you will do
jus’ ANYTHING and that day, is the day you have fallen in true love! It need
not be before marriage, it can also be after three or four years of married
life, but when it really happens; and at that point of time if you think for a
second of how life would be without that person, I am sure you will see yourself
wearing BLACK! Aha,
how can I ever miss out on the World cup?! India is a CCC (Cricket CraZ Country)
and watching all the matches from without missing a single ball is a trend in
itself. You could get the credit for being the most patient guy or the Biggest
FOOL! In 8/10 advertisements I hear the word “South Africa”. And those who
are watching Set Max must really be missing the REAL enthusiasm of the world
cup. The familiar face of Harsha Bhogle, Ravi Shastri or Geoffry Boycott and
their commentary is missing. Wat makes things worse is another changing trend-
Mandira Bedi! Looks like Showbiz and Sports us’ joined hands. Cricket, played
by men and commentated and umpired by men looks pathetic when centered around
Mandira. The Star sports- Espn team makes things lively before, through and
after a match. I reeely hope they
manage to get the rights atleast for the next world cup. So lets wish BEST OF
LUCK to the Indian team and with that let me sign up for the moment.
