Happenings Of In And Around Crescent Campus

 
            So what's been happening this time around in Crescent College?? Lots!!!!! 
The ISTE chapter of our college conducted the Crescendo, a mega event that included oratorical competitions and debates. The Chief Guest, the well-known Mr. Swaran Singh, gave a delightful speech, to mark the beginning of the day. All went well until the end of the day, when, sadly there were only about 60 students for the valedictory function. The day ended on a somber note, when Dr. Modi spoke about the third semester results, which are indeed really shocking and sad, the only consolation being that, everybody is being given another chance by the conduction of the improvement examinations. These will hopefully be conducted at least a week after the fourth semester examinations so that there will be time for preparation. 
            Then there was the Infinity and the All India Islamic Cultural Event conducted on the very next day after Crescendo. 
            The week next to all this activity, the second test series was conducted and the whole college turned serious, with preparations being done, mostly in the last minute. 
Simultaneously, there has been a lot of activity going on in the hostels. Preparation for the Hostel day on one hand and the Sports competitions on the other. The Hostel is indeed lively, or rather even livelier than the usual. 
            And then there is a lot being talked about the Farewell Party, to be given for the final years by this month end. 
            Finally, this month promises to be great, with the Culturals, the College day, the Sports day coming up, along with a lot more fun stuff. Let us all have fun before we should sink into the grim thought of the semester examinations!
